Install ICANotes

Windows Instructions Mac Instructions

  1. Download and install setup-ICANotes.exe by clicking HERE
  2. An icon for ICANotes will appear on your desktop:
 
Double click this icon, then, when prompted for credentials, select "use another account."
 
Next, input your credentials. Enter "INTERNET\" before your ICANotes username every time you first login on a new PC (e.g., "INTERNET\bsmith" without the quotes). Be sure to use the backslash key located above the ENTER key on your keyboard).

 

Note: If you're using a version of Windows earlier than Windows XP, then you need to install free Remote Desktop Connection software from Microsoft. Click the link below:

Note: When you are finished with your ICANotes session, please use the Logoff button (pictured below) in the Chart Room to exit the program. This will ensure that your work has been saved.

Before you begin creating notes, you need to configure your group and individual settings in the Settings + Directories drawer (bottom right drawer in the Chart Room). Refer to this Video Tutorial or our QuickStart User Guide for instructions.

  1. DOWNLOAD  the free Remote Desktop Connection software from Microsoft. Click the appropriate link below:


    Remote Desktop for Mac v2.0.1 (For OSX 10.4) or
    Remote Desktop for Mac v2.1 (For OSX 10.5 or higher)
      Remote Desktop for Mac v2.1.2 (experimental)

2. Find the downloaded software from step 1 on your Mac and INSTALL (Double-Click to open and follow instructions).

3. Control-click (or right click) HERE and select "download linked file as..." or "save link as..." and save to your desktop.

4. Double-Click on the ICANotes.rdp icon to connect to ICANotes (connect-mac.icanotes.com). 


NOTE: Mac Printing requires PostScript Print Drivers on your local Mac.
